Question is who will nuke Iran first. France has nothing to lose by taking action.

Has France put their military forces on alert? That’s what I thought...

It looks like the grownups are finally in control in France.

Then maybe they can attack them instead of us. Sorry war hawks, but I think Iraq and Afghanistan are too important to lose. Iran would tip the balance and would be too much for us to handle all at once. Now if thereâs plans to sponsor a revolution in Iran, thatâs a different story....

They will use their Legion, if anything.

We are talking about continuous Air Strikes. Then again, why do you think forces are still in Iraq - because of Iran.

I would suggest we launch an attack on the political and military leadership in Iran, then stand back and watch what the reformulation looks like. Repeat if necessary...
We should not enter Iran in force IMO, but any training camps and terrorist leaders we were aware of, should be taken out during the first series of strikes.

Seems like the French continue to grow more of a backbone the last 6 months. Finally getting fed up with the “religion of peace” I guess.

Has France put their military forces on alert? Thats what I thought... 1. You don't put your military on alert before doing a secret strike.
2. You generally aren't at the secret strike stage when your foreign minister is saying for the second time or so that the enemy country is dangerous. Ask yourself how manytimes our SecStates said "Libya/Iraq/Panama" are trouble before we actually began kicking their butts.

Well that’s different then. I don’t know how Iran would react, but at least it’s not the gungho “we can occupy the whole Middle East if we damn well have to” talk I’ve heard in some corners of the web.

Your list only takes effect if we let Iran get the nukes.

France waited quite a while after Germany invaded Poland. In fact they waited until France was overrun.

Business contracts
Upsetting its domestic terrorists
Making the US look good

We must also do likewise in Syria otherwise, the balance of power will just shift to Syria.
