He’s going to be missed....about as much as a case of the crabs!!!

I saw this guy on C-SPAN a few years ago, ponificating about something, and my God, the guy was a rambling nitwit! How he ever got elected is beyond me as he came off absolutely witless and you’d think that even the voters would have seen it. The Democratic challenger must have been a weak one. Then again, they might as well have had their own in their for all the good he was.

Linc was a legacy. He got the seat after his father, Senator John Chaffee died. One interesting thing about Linc is that he is a certified blacksmith. He should have stuck to that...

Yep and when they also supported spector on PA that ended my money to the GOP too. Look at the returns they’ve gotten on throwing good money after bad.

Oh, please, please come back, Mr. Chafee, sir. We’ll be glad to change the entire party platform, just to satisfy you. And we’ll be happy to toss millions of Christian voters overboard, just to make you feel more at home. And we’ll readily change our foreign policy. I’m so very sorry that our serious efforts to stop international terrorism and to protect Israel have offended you. Just go to Newport and take a poll of the rich yacht & limousine crowd there, report back to us on what they want, and we’ll obey without question.
Anything...ANYTHING...to keep an asset such as you in the party, Mr. Chafee, sir.

Wow! This is almost like not losing an arm or a leg or something.
It’s kind of scary to think he is so delusional he ever thought he was a Republican.

CHAFEE HAS A WIDE STANCE!

Chafee no longer a Republican RINO.
To: Nam Vet
So you think a “solid Conservative Republican” would have won in Rhode Island? The way Alan Schlesinger did in Connecticut? Bear in mind that the Republican establishment, including Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani, encouraged real Republican voters to vote for Lieberman instead of Schlesinger.
If Chafee had won, Mitch McConnell would control the Senate, and all the committee chairmen would have “R” behind their names.

“Its not my party any more, he said.”
It was never your party. You used us like a whore, and the RINOs in the Senate GOP were happy to spread their legs for you. I said to you “good riddance”, as I would to any place that rids itself of prostitutes. The result is less disease and a cleaner place.
