Two weeks ago or so a freeper tugged my sleeve to dcpatriot's WA activities. I had not checked that site before then but, son of a gun, there he was in all his anti-American, illegal-coddling, 'if it's good for me, it's good period' glory.
You should read some of the freepmails I get about this guy.

Wrong. I am not a mortgage loan officer. I am a Realtor...for 30 years. I was making an observation that the vast majority of the 300+ listings I sold during the recent boom were to purchasers applying for 100% financing. Big Difference.
And yes, as a capitalist free market fan...I am more than happy for non-citizens to be able to work here.
The recession that's started due to normal business cycles will indeed be enhanced by the housing bust...but it will also be made more severe by the enforcement of the immigration laws.

As far as me posting on WideAwakes.net, I have never said a negative thing about FreeRepublic and they all know I still enjoy posting here.

My wife who freeps knows this quite well and shares my view. Some of the harpies personally betrayed me. I knew them beyond this keyboard. Being the part of some inside club is all they really want, politics is really secondary...at best.

I registered over there because many of them were FRiends to me...in so much as conversing with them for years here at FR.
I have no favorite presidential candidate...I leave that to the smoke-filled backrooms and for the spinmeisters that frequent the blogs and forums trying to 'sell' their man. When the nominee is chosen by the GOP, then I will partake.
I am conservative on most issues despite what my stalker says...immigration being the exception. This is due to my self-employed status and entrepreneurial spirit.
The Immigration Bill, while far from perfect, afforded us the vehicle to garner some Hispanic support in terms of voters, and it was the best way to achieve control of the situation without appearing to be anti-immigrant.
It doesn't surprise me that certain posters that created problems here also created them over there.
And I don't think you're a minority here. You are the same make and model as most of the other ill-informed posters on the subject.

However, if he ends up the GOP candidate, I'll vote for him.
