BEIJING (AFP) Chinese authorities have ordered the recall of two contaminated leukaemia drugs blamed for adverse reactions among child patients, state media reported Sunday.
Most of the drugs, produced by a pharmaceutical company in Shanghai, have already been recovered and authorities have tracked down the remainder, Xinhua news agency reported, quoting the Shanghai government.
Authorities suspended production and sale of the drugs, methotrexate and cytarabin hydrochloride, after receiving reports that several child leukaemia patients experienced difficulties in walking after being injected with them.

That’s a fact!
Is anything made in China not contaminated?
Found out that favotite catfish place was using Chinese (poop pond) catfish. Asked the owner “WHY”, he said it cost less than Delta Pride. It cost him my business.
Health ping
I know it’s in China now, but apparently many of our generic pharmaceuticals come from there.
Very scary. I just took a powerful drug that cause my legs to ache, then my whole body - this after 30 days on drug. I felt that I was being poisoned, and quit taking it. I wonder if it was made in China. I think I will write the pharmaceutical company - put a little fear in them so they won’t have our drugs made in China.
You could check online about possible side effects.
They should know, so getting in touch with them would be a good idea.
Contact your doctor.
