It took me a while to get used to the Diet version. Now I gag at the original.
If you've never seen it there's a fun web comix called The White Board, which literally started out with digital photos of the doodles the boss drew on the dry erase white board in their shop. He's got a running bit about the main character, loosely based on himself (the owner of the largest paint ball shop in Alaska! Still Confusing the hell out of nonplayers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday since June 18th, 2002.) and his addiction to Dew. He's even been known to brew coffee using Dew instead of water. Here's the last two strips from this past week:
He's the polar bear. The above stuff is part of a very long set up that dates back over a year, involving exploding refrigerators, unlicensed nuclear accelerators (it helps get the timing on the painball guns just right) and other... interesting complications. Did I mention he can't draw people worth a darn so all of his main characters are anthropomorphic animals? The strip is one of my guilty pleasures each week. I particularly love his fixation on and creative use of "big honking mallets" whenever a customer annoys him too much.
RG, I imagine there are moments where such an idea has crossed your mind in your line of work. I know it has in mine! <g>
Distilled water I thought that was for car batteries must be a different thing in the States :o) - well I hope so
