That is possibly the stupidest think I have ever heard from Kerry's mouth. Does this utter moron even KNOW where Iraq is? Look at the map of the ME Kerry you arrogant ass! Iraq is where we WANT to be to deal with Iran. That this putz was even nominated for the job of CIC is a national disgrace.
I can't speak for the rest of the interview, but as far as I am concerned Chris Wallace is the very last of the dignified journalists and simply a class act.
They are having another rally??
This is the cspan tape from yesterday’s rally.
The Gathering of Eagles rally will be shown starting about 12:40.
Observe the number of American flags at each event.
Hint: only defaced flags are allowed at answer events.
I love the way how the Vice President goes through the list so many times to show that 2001 was not indeed the first attack that is attributed to the WOT.
For those who have not read it he went through the list again on Friday.
"""""""""" With grave new dangers directly in view, the strategic situation changed fundamentally. The first thing we had to understand was that on 9/11, America was not merely the victim of a crime. We were a sovereign nation under attack, entitled to defend ourselves, and obligated to confront and defeat this enemy. We had to understand, as well, not just the ambitions of the enemy, but the kind of response they expect from us. Their goal is to frighten us, to break our will through acts of spectacular violence -- to hit us again and again until we run away.
They've chosen this method because they believe it works, and they believe the history of the late 20th century proves their point. During the 1980s and '90s, as terror networks began to wage attacks against Americans, there was a tendency to treat those attacks as isolated incidents. And those acts were answered, if at all, on an ad hoc basis, with subpoenas, criminal indictments, and the occasional cruise missile. As time passed, the terrorists concluded they could hit America with very little consequence, and change American policy with bigger targets and a higher body count. And so their attacks became more ambitious and more deadly.
In Beirut in 1983, terrorists killed 241 of our servicemen. Thereafter, the U.S. withdrew from Beirut. In Mogadishu in 1993, terrorists killed 19 Americans; thereafter, the U.S. withdrew from Somalia. This emboldened them still further, confirming their belief that they could strike America without paying a price and be able to change our policies. Indeed they did strike, and indeed they did not pay the price.
We had the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York in 1993; an attack on U.S. facilities in Riyadh in 1995; the attack on Khobar Towers in 1996; the attack on our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998; and, of course, the attack on the USS Cole in 2000. Ultimately, of course, they attacked the homeland on 9/11 and took the lives of 3,000 people aboard passenger jets, at the World Trade Center, and in the Pentagon.
The terrorists have been at war with the United States for a long time. And after 9/11 this nation made a decision: We are at war with them. This is a long-term commitment, not a passing issue. There will be no running, or relenting, until the problem has been dealt with -- decisively, systematically, and permanently. """"""""""""""""

Wish someone from our side would mention that LBJ lost Vietnam and thankfully is not running Iraq.

Ware and Cafferty, two drunks who get to spew at America on CNN.
What a disgrace, CNN should pay dearly.
I think you just hit that right out of the park. I couldn’t put it better myself.
He’s calling them both war candidates
He said that?
OMFG he’s dumber than I thought.
Where in the hell does he think would be a more optimal spot to locate air and ground forces for a strike against Iran?
Okinawa?
I noticed that after I turned on the TV
This is a pretty long and verbose “roundtable” on TW with very little substance They’re all bickering amongst themselves and George Will is sitting there, just minding his own.
Media may love his anti-interrogation, anti-Rumsfeld and any other anti-admin message, but he is going to alienate loyal Republicans. Learn from other top contenders & make yourself scarce to the media & get closer the party people with Radio.
I have questioned the Boorda suicide since day 1. I cannot believe a Navy Admiral would take his own life because of a newspaper story that was false.
Any suicide of any person connected to the Clintons should be looked at with extreme suspicion. I don’t ordinarily believe in conspiracy theories but sometimes when you smell a little smoke there is a fire.
Cafferty is CNN’s version of Andy Rooney— an old coot who they bring on to rant against anyone and anything. I think it’s more entertainment than anything.
It frightens me how little of how the political system actually works and operates is actually taught both sides of the Atlantic in school you have to go onto further education to learn it where you then get even more of a left slant put on it.
NONE of the Dem candidates have refused to disavow the ad knowing that tis slanderous crap in in there...on top of the whole title of the ad that everyone is so focused on.
I would say that was deliberately planted as a trap for any critics, since that's one of the Swift Boat Veteran's for Truth charges against Kerry, that he falsified the material used to get his Bronze Star. They wanted critics to jump on that so that they could scream "hypocrisy!" I'm happy to say that no one took the bait.
Cut&Run Kerry wants the UN involves since there are not enough starving children or rapes happening.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Perhaps the organizers included in their count, Harry Reid-like imaginary friends of each protestor.
But, but— he had the hat and the scars on his a$$ to prove it!!
