Everytime I see one of those “Coexist’ bumper stickers I want to see if the idiots pacifism is real by slapping some sense into them.

The terrorists understood us. We just didn’t understand them or their viciousness.

Thanks for the post!

Here is a French saying that says it all:

Tout comprendre, c’est tout pardonner, mais tout pardonner, c’est tout embêter.

(To understand all is to forgive all, but to forgive all is to make everything unimportant (or stupid to use the literal translation)).

The terrorists ‘understand’ soft-headed liberal morons like Deval Patrick all too well..... they hope we’re all like that.

Fortunately, a lot of Americans have too much sense to regard babblers like Governor Patrick as anything but dangerous soporific appeasers.

Which sounds like a pilot for a wacky jihadist sitcom: "Atilla and the Hun."

You can't make this stuff up....

Unless you’re 116, they’d haul someone off in irons! (8^D)

“no one cried “Shame!” or walked out on the ceremony.”

There, in a nutshell, is the problem. Unless we shout them down when statements like this are made, they will continue - just as al Qaeda did in the 1990’s.

Silence is consent. Freedom of speech & turning the other cheek - no one ever said to stand there and let them slap you silly.

How about bumper sticks of our own like “Mohammed = Jim Jones” or “Bomb Tehran Now” or “This is our country - Assimilate”??

Me too. I saw a bumper sticker last week, it said ...

Frodo failed. Bush has the ring."

A bump for Mark Steyn and a kick in the rear end for Deval Patrick.

You’re only criticizing Deval Patrick because he’s African American, aren’t you? Racist!

;^)

How many people in any society think like Deval Patrick? That's the calculation to make if you want to figure out its long-term survival prospects.

Another great Mark Steyn column, thanks for posting.

Thanks! Deval Patrick is like a cross between Wally Cox
and Steve Urkel (Family Matters), only that would be
an insult to the late actor and the TV character...Patrick
is less macho than Cox and more nerdy than Urkel.
