Would one of those "other personal trials" be leaving a woman to drown to death while he frantically sought to escape the scene and cover his (likely enebriated)fat a$$? It's amazing (or maybe not) how this piece of human garbage has been lionized as some great public servant over the years. What a mess the Kennedy family is. Without a doubt, the most corrupt political dynasty (and that is saying a lot)in our nation's history.
