ONCE A CLINTON . . .
September 15, 2007 -- For Hillary Clinton, it must seem like déjà vu all over again (as Yogi Berra might put it).
But for voters, Camp Clinton's panicky move to refund $850,000 (temporarily, anyway) in donations linked to former fugitive con artist Norman Hsu hearkens back to hubby Bill's sordid fund-raising during his 1996 re-election campaign.
And the funny money isn't the only ghost from the Clintons' past.
Newsweek reports that the senator is relying for foreign-policy advice on a triumverate of her husband's top advisers - including Sandy "Sticky Fingers" Berger.

Last June, when the California Democratic Party passed on concerns that Hsu was involved in shady business, Hillary's finance director responded: "I can tell you with 100 [percent] certainty that Norman Hsu is NOT involved in a Ponzi scheme. He is COMPLETELY legit."
It then emerged, of course, that Hsu had been a fugitive for 15 years on charges of defrauding investors. He promised to surrender, failed to do so, then got nabbed after having some sort of breakdown on a passenger train.

And her campaign chairman - Terry McAuliffe, known for his methodical courtship of big-money sources for Bill and Hillary - is pleading ignorance, telling The Washington Post, "I don't know how [Hsu] became involved."

But as one unnamed major fund-raiser told The New York Times: "The Clintons are the ultimate pragmatists in who they hang out with. If you can be useful to them, they will find a way to make it work."
That explains why Team Hillary turned a blind eye to Norman Hsu.
But what about Sandy Berger?
Probably just nostalgia.

But she knew nothing about it...
Leeches and ignoramuses are allowed to vote, many more than once.

Leeches and ignoramuses are allowed to vote, many more than once.
This should have nothing to do with the intelligence and voting habits of the voters and everything to do with who is bound by the rule of law.
“...As for Norman Hsu, an aide to GOP White House hopeful Fred Thompson asks: “Didn’t Hillary learn anything from Charlie Trie?”...”
Yes, she did you pinhead.
She learned she could get away with it.
Anymore dumb questions?
How is it we allow this stuff to happen. How?
Its beyond me too.
If any one of us robbed a bank or whatever, we would be behind bars. She is robbing right out in the open, in plain view, and where are the handcuffs?
Time for Hillary to drag out that old pink suit, get a new hairdo and to start practice saying, I don’t remember, I can’t recall, while looking shocked to even have the hint of corruption associated with her. Her credibility like a compulsive shoppers credit card is over the max and it’s time she is forced to pay.
Sounds like she made that remark last June so she could fake not knowing about Hsu if he ever got caught. In her mind, let the slaves take the fall. She is above it all.
This woman is nothing but a hyped up PR job. She is not remarkable; but rather common garden variety. She is a crook, cheat, liar and thief married to a rapist of women. She is controlled and how people could vote for her is beyond me. She has nothing to offer America except a very sad vision of the future.
She could not now or ever be an effective President because of all her baggage which I suspect will dog her the rest of her life. She is also not qualified to be President because she doesn’t have the qualifications to be President. She lied her way into the Senate, was given a job at a law firm, given things because of her positions which counted for nothing. It makes you wonder how people are elevated to run for high office.
That was a very summation.
She should never be a good President because she lives off of others accomplishments.
She’s said “I knew nothing about it” so many times .. it truly proves JUST HOW STUPID SHE IS.
Otherwise, she not only did know .. she was totally complicit with it. She just thought her pals in the media would be able to shield her from any accountability for it.
