Similar thing is happening at colleges that grant degrees in Education. Students must have the right “disposition” to graduate.

I have and do, and this article is accurate.

As recently as last week, even after being aware of this stuff for years, I was shocked at the audacity of social workers and teachers who see prosletyzing for their politcal agenda as part of their job.

My favorite recent encounter was when I had to call a social worker for a student's case, and her answering machine response was in Spanish FIRST, THEN in English. Sure, one can say (as someone did) "Most of her cases speak only Spanish," which is the problem.

OMG, I bet they are pis$ed! Someone has outed their dirty laundry! FINALLY!

The profession of Social Workers does not take the “social” part of their name, lightly. In fact, we all should read it to mean “socialism”, of the most oppressive sort!

Education is too important to be left to the educators.

I wonder why the article is headlined “Ed School,” when it’s about Social Work programs.

Posted here earlier this week:

We really need a “Search by Author” function, because title search has been rendered practically useless by awful titles!

I was recently at a conference where one speaker was pointing out a number of demographics from resources like “The Coming Generational Storm” as to how in 2006 1/2 of all people who were EVER 65 were currently alive and such and what implications this had for programs like Medicare and Social Security and he made the remark that no one knows how we are going to deal with the implications of all this. I thought to myself, “we have known for at least 30 years how we are going to deal with it, ‘Soylent Green’ was made in 1973.”
