Newt is brilliant, but still a spoiled wiseacre know-it-all brainiac fat kid with too-high an IQ and offers no true leadership today.
I sure agree with this assessment and would add that success spoiled Newt. It went to his head and he wasn’t/isn’t thinking logically enough to see the consequences of some of his more stupid, and I do mean stupid moves......moves that if he had just a smidgin of common sense would have told him, Don’t do this, it will come back to bite you big time.
I have no problem with having him in the background offering up some of his ideas, but out front......no way.
