NEW YORK - New DNA testing of bone fragments found at the World Trade Center site has identified the remains of a Framingham woman who was on American Airlines Flight 11 when it was crashed into the north tower on Sept. 11, 2001.
Laura Lee Morabito was working as a national sales manager for Qantas Airways and had lived for about a year in Framingham when she was killed when terrorists commandeered the airliner and crashed it into the World Trade Center.
The remains of the 34-year-old woman were found in the initial recovery effort but could not be linked to her by the DNA technology used at the time. More recent testing identified the remains as those of Morabito.
There were no terrorists, there were no passengers! It was the government... Yeah... Yeah... That's the ticket!
Sad that there are actually people who believe that, isn’t it?
I’m glad for her family’s sake that they ID’d her. It must be awful to lose a loved one and have nothing to bury. I hope that this gives them some peace.
It’s amazing they can actually figure that out considering they probably didn’t have much to work with!
I hope her family can manage to have some kind of peace though I don’t even know how it’s possible.
I hate it the way sanctimonious leftists love to lecture victims about their alleged (usually imaginary) failings. Then they usually are eager to praise or at least excuse criminals and terrorists.
