Gingrich just likes to run his mouth. He knows Hillary is as crooked as the day is long and he still kisses her butt.

Gingrich should then say Pubbie candidates should make a clean break from fighting terrorism, cutting taxes, appointing conservative supreme court justices, professing ones faith in Christianity, and speaking out on family values.

Go away Newt. Please. Go away.

Newt lost me when he shook Clinton’s hand and gave him the credit for welfare reform.

If we need a “clean break” from Bush, then we’re finished. There ain’t going to be break, much less a clean break.

Some of what he says has legitimacy, but ironically Newt represents a much bigger ‘status quo’ Republican target than just about anyone who is already in the race. He has tons of baggage. If Newt cared about the Republican party and conservatism more than his own image/career he wouldn’t be making these pronouncements publicly. He does so because he wants the coverage.

As it happens, I somewhat agree. But nothing is gained by the spectacle of a “conservative” publicly trashing Bush and what he has accomplished, and much is lost.
Why is Newt publicly ranting like this via Rooters? If he wants to run, then run. But kibbitzing from the sidelines, trashing his party, and whoring for the media are not helpful activities.
Free advice is cheap.

Stones? Actually he seems to lack the stones to speak truth to whiners in the politically corrupt media.
