Marrying a political attack with a fundraising gambit, Rudy has fashioned his own ad for the New York Times. He blasted it out to supporters this afternoon as part of a money solicitation and has put a portion of it on his website just above a contribution form.

I am assuming (Dangerous as that is)... this means Ron Paul returned a $10 Mill check? You have the advantage over me...
Enlighten me... if you please?
He said this:
"I understand there's a front page ad that's been taken out by this outfit called MoveOn.org in the New York Times today," said Thompson at a campaign rally at Doc's Barbecue in this capital city. "And it basically accuses our general who's leading our troops in Iraq right now of betraying his own country. This outfit basically, in large part, funds the Democratic party. I call upon the Democratic party and all those Democratic contenders for the White House to disavow this libel against this brave American."

Can't we be on the same side on this one? Fred ripped the Donks, and Rudy ripped them -- and Rudy gets points for using the more effective forum. Good on 'em both! Let's resist the attempt to "eat our own"...
Rush believes he did.
Go Rudy!....pound the hell out of the Arkansas Carpetbagger!
This shows what a world of difference there is between McCain & Rudy. McCain would never take on Hilliary, after all, they are political allies. I still remember the meet the press interview from a year or so ago, with McCain & Hillary sitting side by side. A real love fest. McCain kept saying during the interview with Russert that Hillary would make a great president. Russert was beaming. It was sickening.
Are you nuts? Any kick in the throat to Hitlery is an impressive ad. What did you say when CRinton was poking Monica in the Oval Office? No big deal????
I believe he did.
I’m not a big Rudy fan, but if he is the only Republican candidate willing to go toe-to-toe with Clinton, I may become a backer.
My husband is surprising me. He is presently leaning toward Rudy, primarily because Rudy seems to be tough enough to deal with HRC and the terrorists, both Islamic and “Demoratic”.
I’m with you, Bender. But any attempt to show the Dems for the imbeciles they are is a good thing.
Oh, I just assumed nobody on FR would be ass enough to criticize an ad attacking MoveOn unless they were running a better ad themselves. How about you post your ads on this thread?
I can’t do that. I am being paid as an advertising consultant.
I am very happy that Giuliani attacked Hillary and MoveOn.org in his ad. What I said is that it is “unimpressive” and that is what I meant. If I were looking through a paper, I would not stop on that ad. It should have had something more hard hitting, like a picture of her in her witch look. Color would have helped as well.
Go Fred!
“To the Thompson supporters, Fred is no Rudy”
I am so glad of that. One Rudy is enough.
I am glad he ran this ad. Sen Clinton deserves this and more.
Just guessing, but I think he’s refering to the check from the Sheik that Rudy turned down when he was Mayor of NY.
What has Fred done or accomplished that makes him so special? Being a Senator alone doesn’t count. There are many Senators who are utter boobs.
That is correct.
How opportunistic can he get?
The NYT ad is a transparent ploy——Rooty acting like he hates Hillary as much as conservatives do.
The positions he’s taken (identical to Hillary’s) indicate Rooty is going after Hillary’s voters.
$65,000?
Well, that pays Maureen Dowd’s bar bill for the month.
