The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced that veteran actor and director Robert Duvall, along with his wife Luciana, are supporting Mayor Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States.
The Duvalls will also host a fundraiser for the Mayor at their Virginia home later this month.
“Rudy has consistently proven he’s ready to confront tough challenges,” said Duvall. “I don’t normally get involved in politics, but I think the stakes are too high this election. Mayor Giuliani has the executive experience, proven record and bold vision needed to lead our country. Luciana and I are proud to support him.”
“As a fan and an admirer of Mr. Duvall’s work for some time, I am honored to have Robert and his wife Luciana’s support and help on our campaign,” said Mayor Giuliani. “Their willingness to not only offer their support, but to open their home is a tremendous contribution. I am excited to have the Duvalls on our team.”
Guiliani is really comming out into the anti-religion candidate.
Most don’t understand his background. That’s why he’s the way he is...raised by a military man.

Rudy bashers can’t handle the truth: Fred and Rudy are the top two candidates for the GOP and either has a better chance of winning the general than anyone else from the GOP.

Who cares? How can anyone get excited about any of these assclowns? Thompson, Romney, Giuliani, Clinton, Obama, Edwards. Americans can all mourn that NONE of these individuals represents the best and the brightest amongst us. Possibly the most mediocre and uninspiring group of presidential candidates in history.

Yes...he is certainly NOT liberal on many issues.
If he would leave some of those socially liberal issues to the states, I could definitely vote for him.
Well, he certainly has a star studded ancestry...George Washington and Robert E Lee. I'm even more impressed with him. It's a shame he never had kids of his own. And I think he was an only child.
It makes me feel good to at least someone in Hollywood apparently realizes the dangers and evils of Hillary Clinton. With all that talent and yet so stupid when it comes to things that really matter, like real life.

One of my all time favorites I have it and have to watch it about every two to three months. Absolutely great acting by all the stars involved.
I too have that video...I just loved that movie. I’ve read all the books related to that movie. ‘Commanche Moon’ [the young yrs of Capt Call & Gus McCrea] next is ‘Lonesome Dove’ last is ‘Streets of Laredo’[later yrs of Capt Call]. All worth the read.
