Go for it Rudy, although who reads the NYT's that may vote Republican?

I think the IRS should look into considering the reduced rate as a political contribution to the DNC.

The damage may come from the Reagan democrats, it may be just a matter of time before they begin to turn....

So Rudy’s clamoring to give the NYT $65,000?
How about suing them making an illegal campaign donation to the Dems?

Better yet, the reduction should be considered taxable income to Moveon.org.

Agreed!!!
And Rudy should have a conservative org ready to request the same rate as moveon when he is told no by the NYT cuz he is a candidate.
To: what's up
Rudy's a phony cream puff from Lawn Guyland.
The NY Times is irrelevant.

Of all the candidates Rudy will burrow deeper under the skin of the Democrats.
Bad press from the libs emboldens him.

Rudy sure didn’t waste time with this excellent strategy... Either the times has to give in and put up a great ad or take the hit that they deeply discounted for a special interest group. It’s gonna hurt either way!Way to go, Rudy!
To: gcruse
I believe that would be the next step

If I was one of the NYT’s advertisers like Macy’s, I would be demanding the same rate as MoveOn

I'll side with any "cream puff" who argues with the NYT.
There's very few high-profile pols who will.

To: what's up
Yawn.
Dole criticied the NY Times too. Its just not worth one's while to attack what is essentially a dying publication. Its the equivalent of attacking Time or the Saturday Evening Post.
