Two Miami-Dade police officers have been injured in a so-called Tactical Operation gone bad in Cutler Bay.
This is currently a developing story that began at SW 281st Street and 143rd Court in Cutler Bay where the two officers were possibly shot, reportedly with an assault rifle.
Other officers may have also been hurt but only with minor injuries.
At least one officer has been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
After the shooting, one suspect barricaded himself inside a building at 280th Street and Southwest 143RD Court.
The other suspect took off in a White Honda Accord and began driving on the Turnpike and led police on a short chase before he bailed out at 222nd Street and SW 110th Avenue.
That suspect, described as a chubby white man with long black hair remains on the loose.
Broward County police agencies have been alerted to the shooting of the Miami-Dade Officers.

Shawn Sherwin Lebett (Levitt?) is the 2nd Photo. Not Kevin Wehener. Lebett obtained Wehner’s ID.
Now they’re admitting the first photo was the wrong guy - an innocent dude who may have had his identity hijacked. The second picture is a different guy with a different name.
Oops.
They emphatically said the first subject was involved.

And just disregard all of that because now we know that they had the wrong photo originally!

If I was Kevin Wehner I’d stay in my basement for a few days.
Now there’s a new picture of a different guy, different name.
The Keystone Cops are alive and well.
They found evidence of shaving in one of the houses right where the car was ditched. House was otherwise empty.
Obviously it might not be related to the perp.

This dude was probably on the way to blow up a school.
After looking at that, though, I wonder if those guys are related in some way.
That would just suck seeing your photo on the web as a cop killer.
