CORSICANA, Texas — The live-in boyfriend of the mother of a 6-year-old found hanged and sexually assaulted has been arrested in connection with the child's death in Texas, KDFW-TV reported Thursday.
Kevin Anders was arrested after the lifeless body of Hannah Mack was found hanging in the garage by a rope around the neck.

True. Also agree I wouldn’t necessarily beat up (too hard) on the woman for doing this. However, she SHOULD get a “good scolding” at least in the public eye, like the woman (and her mother, I think) here in Baltimore who likewise “befriended” a KNOWN previously convicted pervert and whose 10yo boy ended up dead, found by people taking a walk.
Why shouldn’t they shack up with the “step” boyfriend if they already shacked up with the previous several boyfriends, including the sire of the said children?

There was a lot that was wrong with lynch law and rough justice from the local lawmen, but there were some advantages, including the speed and severity of punishment.

Actually, once upon a time, speedy trials and truly just punishment were much more common-place thanks to courts. Lynchings weren’t needed much because real justice tended to follow anyway.
Now, courts are inefficient in the least (5 years later, a trial) and never mind how soft-hearted the lib judges are.

You say that like it's a new thing. Male/Female relationships have always been about sex, or at least sexual attraction. I wouldn't trust a young man or woman who appeared to be dispassionate in that regard. Hell, working on 17 years of marriage sex still plays a major role in our relationship.
Everyone is way too quick to condemn this woman who's just lost a child. In my book, she's the one who's really going to suffer through all of this, and this poor woman has my deepest sympathy.

That’s why I constantly pray for a spiritual awakening in America. I pray for God’s mercy and favor on us. I can’t believe how much things have changed in the last 50 years.
