Obama is running for the VP slot.
I think he's positioning for 2012 or 2016. Remember, the Xlintons were surprised to win in '92. They had planned to win in 1996 against an open GOP presidential slot. They never expected to unseat a sitting incumbent who was a victorious war president.
Obama's young. He can wait. With his big giant warchest and PAC.
