The Night Became As Though |
|
|
|
As the night drew near The air drew cold I could feel my heart Though a piece been sold
The noises around So soft but loud As though a baby Made the noise of a crowd
Rain began to fall Upon the land so dry Awakening the ground With love from the sky
Then what would appear A rainbow of gold Just like a fairy tale I'd once been told
So just remember The clouds then the storm A rainbow there'll be With the sun so warm

Well, that is a pretty one, LadyJ! Have never seen such a perfect rainbow, but actual or embellished a bit, it sure frames that tree beautifully, doesn't it. Pretty poem.
Thank you!

Beautiful, Lady Jag, thanks. That’s a keeper.
Rain began to fall
Upon the land so dry
Awakening the ground
With love from the sky
Rarely see a full rainbow, if ever....ahhh....
