I'm glad these Dems are acting like this. They think they are scoring points with the American people. They are really coming across as pretentious fools and defeatist. Gen. Petraeus is a warrior, a credible and honest soldier; he comes across as that on TV. Dems claim they 'care' about the troops, but this shows them to be liars.
Maybe I'm being Pollyannish, but I hope that reasonable, average people seeing this are going to be anything other than disgusted at the Dems behavior.

Boxer is rewriting history again. The whole world didn't love us before 9/11. That's why we got hit. She and her cronies took this nation through the "why don't they love us" routine very shortly after we were attacked and before we went to war against the terrorists. And no...Europe and didn't love us before 9/11, either. We did NOT have the whole world in our hands. Perhaps she was just remembering the good ol' days of America under Clinton when the Dems felt like they had the whole world in their hands.
