Many people recommend, and I personally use: Real Alternative from KL Software.
I mispoke yesterday when I said that there might not be a briefing today. It's Thurdays that's questionable.
No info on time or channel, but the briefing was a little early yesterday.
The Harry Reid Hate Fest is scheduled a little later today so there may not be a rush.
I have one for him every day. Is this something special?
Given the day will President Bush have a presser?
> Given the day will President Bush have a presser?
Not that I’ve heard.
If you want on, or off, the Tony Snow/WHPB ping list, please FReepMail dinasour
Here’s Tony.
Reporter says some Repulicans are expressing scepticism at Petraeus’ comments.
I haven’t really heard that.
These reporters are no different then the Senators. They don’t even listen. They don’t care what the answers are.
Ed Henry talking about defacto partitioning. What does the WH feel about this.
Tony says he’ll leaving it to experts. Tony says it’s chin pulling by the pundit class. (That’s what I think it is too.)
Tony: when you have something that’s succeeding, you want more of it.
You have significant progress on the ground.
(These people do not want this to succeed. They are thinking furiously how they can reverse this.)
> Reporter says some Repulicans
I sure that Reporter knows exactly two republicans. Their names are “Some” and “Many”.
Bret is asking if they are getting more confident that the dems do not have the votes to withdraw.
Tony refuses to show ankle.
Helen wants to know if we are going to invade Iran. She would prefer that they invade us...and win.
She says there’s a drum beat on Iran.
Well, Helen, they keep doing bad things.
No, but he can attack Massachusetts.
I didn’t know that fat fool Mookie was back in Iran. Heheheh.
Tony is doing a good job of summing up some of the good things going on in Iraq in response to one of the more incoherant questions I’ve head.
Reporterette: How does the president Feeeeel about not finding Osama?
Feeelings. Nothing but Feeelings.
Dooby-Dooby-Do
Six years of fighting proves that we have a determined enemy.
April wants to know what the President feels about bin Laden not having been found.
Tony says he’s hiding in a cave and getting him would be symbolicly important but this isn’t a war against one guy.
> Late but here
Mighty glad to have you
I sense Tony is feeling a little liberated since he’s on a way out.
What is this about a “diversionary tactic.”
