At 8 to 1 odds of becoming the next US President How do you get 8:1 when polls show him, at best pulling 10%.

If his poll numbers were a stock, I’d short it. He will get zero delegates to the RNC convention and has zero chance of getting nominated.

“At 8 to 1 odds of becoming the next US President How do you get 8:1 when polls show him, at best pulling 10%.”

So does that make his odds 10:1, or 3:1 since the front runner is only about 25%?

8:1 I think is based off the number of candidates. They seem to be giving each of them an equal chance of winning. Bad statistics! Err, are there 8 of them?

Your decimal is in the wrong place, he is consistently at 1.0%
