n the United States, the people choose their representatives when they vote on Election Day. The representatives make the laws. That way, the U.S. government comes from the people. YEP....easiest way to explain to a kid is have them recite the Pledge of Allegiance.....”I Pledge allegiance to the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC.....
