$850 million is a few bucks more than the first estimates.

We need to demand that these returns are audited and posting of both sides of every check is available on her internet site.

No giving of money to $oreA$$’s phoney ngos like Moveon and other $oreA$$ phoney ngos.

Makes one wonder if this 850 million $’s didn’t come from so really bad characters via Hsu’s bundling.

Then IRS and each state tax board needs to see if those supposedly giving the money paid taxes on it for their share of laundering.

Ha HA ha hA Ha HA ha...
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign said Monday it will return $850,000 in donations raised by Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, who is under federal investigation for violating election laws.
Next up, Mr. Chatwal gets his turn in the barrel.

She wont return it. The Clintons are untouchable.

Looks to me like this story HAS touched her, even if she's just saying she'll return that much money.
For $850K, I'd say she's been touched real good. I smell fear. She wants this behind her and she's willing to pay a lot.

During the 1980/90's, the Clintoons got by with murder, rape, campaign finance abuse, Arkancide, treason and other crimes due to their buds controlling the MSM. Welcome to the new century, Clintoon criminals. You can't hide your criminal activities anymore.

There is no private right of action against candidates under the FEC law. However, interested individuals or organizations can file a Complaint against anyone. For instance, my friend Peter Paul filed a Complaint six years ago which forced the Hillary 2000 Senate to admit that it had filed a false FEC report concerning $1.2 million.

The new Report was STILL dishonest about the source of that money, and the case goes on. Given that this is Hillary Clinton we are talking about, I think you can rely on individuals and/or organizations to bring appropriate Complaints against Hillary, now that SOME of the Chinese cats are out of the bag.

So, those poor folk Hsu was laundering money through are going to get their “contributions” back ...

Which they will give right back! It must go to a true charity like ACORN in New Orleans ...

["Clinton, D-N.Y., previously had planned only to give to charity $23,000 she received from Hsu..."]

But then she found another $827K that apparently fell behind her dresser...

“I tell you, if a Republican candidate got 850 grand from a foreign citizen, that candidate would be fined, in jail, and disgraced in perpetuity.

The Clintons are nothing but small time hoodlums on a national stage.”

I respectfully disagree- if they were small time they would not have this kind of control over the media. They, and the people in back of them are big, big time. Even the new President didn't go after them when he was in position to do so, claiming it was a "new tone".

I do agree that the 850 large will be back in a new envelope next week.

Guaranteed, if Shrillery is giving up nearly $1 million this quickly then there is an incredible cesspool underlying this whole scam, waiting to be exposed and drained. WaPo and the LA Times are both referring to the feds investigating a “shady business venture” in which Hsu allegedly provided “investors” with unusual returns and then leaned on them for political contributions. That would be a much bigger scandal than a known felon “bundling” contributions — why is Shrillery already returning donations to 260 donors?? This is just the tip of the iceberg!! Did the ChiComs provide the million(s) for Hsu fake investor scam?? Who else would put that kind of money into the thing? Hsu certainly does not seem to have any evident source(s) of such income, so far as all his false-front “company” addresses can indicate! Where was he getting all this money, and how was he laundering it through to the “donors”?? Inquiring minds sure do want to know....

The Clinton campaign made its announcement around 6:40 p.m., shortly after the network evening news shows had begun on the East Coast. The timing was roughly the same as on Aug. 29 when Clinton advisers disclosed they were returning Mr. Hsu’s $23,000 in personal donations to Clinton campaign accounts. Clinton aides, who have been trying to contain the political damage from the Hsu revelations, have been monitoring the number of stories that the network evening news has run on Mr. Hsu — only a handful thus far.

Mr. Wolfson’s full statement on the issue follows:
In light of recent events and allegations that Mr. Norman Hsu engaged in an llegal investment scheme, we have decided out of an abundance of caution to return the money he raised for our campaign.

This week approximately 260 donors will receive refunds totaling approximately $850,000 from the campaign.

Mr. Hsu donated to numerous charities and more than two dozen candidates and committees. Despite conducting a thorough review of public records, our campaign, like these others, were unaware of Mr. Hsu’s decade-plus old warrant.

To help ensure against this type of situation in the future, our campaign will also institute vigorous additional vetting procedures on our bundlers, including criminal background checks. In any instances where a source of a bundler’s income is in question, the campaign will take affirmative steps to verify its origin.

All the news reports that name names, mention Obama in this up to his huge ears. On the other hand, one name notably missing from the list of Hsu beneficiaries is John Edwards.

So far.

That would be five “new” and up dated and still “false” reports submitted to the FEC. And they were fined by the FEC for their lies!
