I know! This was (attempted premeditated) murder. Why didn’t he get a life sentence?

This is Oregon, you can kill a spouse and get off with counseling, sometimes. In fact, since this is Oregon, there was actually an investigation to see if they could charge her with something for killing her hitman.

Blue state justice only comes from vigilantes.
