You have a much easier time, from a tactical standpoint, hitting a shopping mall with a half dozen gunmen/homicide bomber types, due to the fixed points of entry/exit...and the familiar ‘center court’ food locations.
Four guys walking in from four points of the compass, firing indiscriminately....naturally will herd the shoppers into that area...then detonate.
Thats my nightmare scenario.
They just started a minor or major in Islamic studies where I used to work—on the same damn floor in fact. Universities are so willing to bring in these elements.
If they atacked our college campuses, I am sure they would try to minimize the killing of professors - wouldn’t want to kill their own supporters.

That would mean that they would be killing their natural liberal allies that infest our universities, a win-win situation.
