Thanks, Starwise....I talked for a while
to my boy yesterday morning and he was still hooked up to all the tubes...antibiotics and the tummy pump. He was to have a CT scan today and I’ll probably talk to him again tomorrow. Just keep praying, Starwise. I don’t think we knew what a dangerous situation he was in with that burst appendix! People have told me that he’s lucky to be alive. That just scares me. God was certainly taking care of him...thanks to all the prayers he has had.
I wish I had heard Kristinn. I hope I’ll get to meet him along with all the other great FReepers who will gather this coming weekend!

I didn’t know the appendix had burst. That is not an easy situation at all.

This soldier who endured Fallujah is wonderful.
Talking about how hyped up the terrorists get on drugs, liquid morphine, etc etc for the fight .. and that the soldiers have to constantly get checked for aids, other diseases, due to the close physical contact in house to house fighting.

Part of the problem was that HE didn’t know it burst for about 24 hours and that complicated matters.
The good news is that it didn’t happen while he was flying to Iraq as he was supposed to be doing, mostly because of the prayers sent up for him not to have to go. God works in mysterious ways for sure!
