SCOTSWIFE, you didn’t read the article. This is a quote from the sixth paragraph thereof.

“Children who die of physical abuse are more often victims of female perpetrators, usually mothers, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”

Apologies accepted for your intemperate and inaccurate calumnies.

and you are ignoring the statement about who is most likely to be a sexual predator.

Don’t get me wrong...I despise the dirtbags who are abusing their own kids - male or female.
But they’re not the ones I’m afraid of. They’re not the ones I’m warning my kids about.

I’m afraid of guys who would steal a child out of her own bed -rape her and kill her- like the murderers of Polly Klaas and Jessica Lunford.

I’m afraid of the guys who would steal a 5 yr. old from her front lawn in the daylight - like the guy who killed Samantha Runion.

These are the types of crimes parents are worried will happen to their children....men like Michael Devlin who kidnapped and brainwashed Sean Hornbeck, and yes - even the local priest who introduced young men to booze, porn, and sadly - sex (yes -I’m catholic, and yes- I know most priests do not do this)

The op article was addressing the fear parents have and why they are telling their kids to approach women instead of men when they need help.

I understand many scumbag women abuse their children. Many scumbag women seduce 13 yr. old boys.
But we don’t see many women kidnapping, raping, and murdering children.
