GLENN: Rudy, first of all, loved you in the debate.
********

Glenn Beck is a real ass kisser. His recent interview of Denis Leary made me want to puke. I like Leary as an actor/comedian, but when he went off on his Boston/Irish Catholic/democrat stuff, Beck demurred, kissed his fanny and giggled like an altar boy invited into a pastor’s sanctuary at midnight.

The problem they have is not a lack of morals but a lack of intellect. Either by nature or nurture they are grossly incapable of abstract reasoning and argumentation; hence, they typically rely on ad hominem (personal) attacks as their means of argumentation.

My god I really get tired of you shrill mouth foamers.

I hope you have a keyboard protector on YOUR keyboard.

HuntsvilleTXVeteran said nothing that deserved your emotional, irrational attack.

Rudy might be a lot of things, but one thing he isn't is a good choice for the Republican party. His political philosophy isn't much different from another prominent Democrat, one that Sean Hannity loves, too...Joseph Leiberman. If you have no problem with a pro-abortion, open borders, gun grabbing, gay loving cross dresser whose policies made it easier for four of 9/11 terrorists to commit their crime, then perhaps, you are incorrectly self identifying as a Republican, let alone conservative?

A Rudy presidency would destroy the Republican party. Bush Sr's lackadaisical presidency didn't help strengthen the party, think what a liberal like Rudy would do to the party as he and the media work together to alienate Christian conservatives? When the media isn't playing Rudy against Christian conservatives, they'll continue their ongoing program of whipping Rudy for merely being a Republican continuing the Bush legacy of taking the party down with them.

Sure..lets bag winning..Hey...lets go with the most conservative single issue candidate we can..oh..and lets make sure he looks really old and frowns...after all America is going to love someone who looks like he is pushing poor Hillary around....after all we used this strategy in 1996 and we cleaned up..remember the Bob Dole Presidency..oh..wait...we lost that one didn’t we...so Rudy doesn’t stand with us 100%...80% is still better than Hillary isn’t it? Don’t make the same mistake we made in 1996. Politics is perception.

You've made a mistake...I don't support McFred.

...so Rudy doesn’t stand with us 100%...80% is still better than Hillary isn’t it?

A rational observer would recognize that Hillary would be better for the Republican party than a Rudy presidency. Hillary would galvanize jelly spined Republicans in a way that Rudy never could. Of course, you missed this observation in the post you responded to, so I don't expect you to get it this time, either, but Rudy isn't a Republican. He might have an (R) after his name, but in reality, he represents about where most Democrats are on the political spectrum.

But..what you are missing was that we believed the same thing in 1996. Oh..Clinton will bring all the Reps out ...lest just run on substance..Bob Dole can beat him easily...all the reps will come out and vote to get rid of Clinto..my point to you..what if you are wrong...will you be able to stomach 8 years of Hillary turningthis into a nanny socialist state because you were willing to turn your back on a candidate who has promised to close the borders and appoint judges like Alito..then when Hillary tries to pass an amendment that repeasl pres. term limits will you be able to look back and feel that you made the best choice because you went for the 100% candidate who couldn’t pull both sides of the spectrum...will you sleep better knowing that? 1996 hurt...why do that again

what a refreshing post....the Rudy haters flock to FR as do the beast supporters who love to see conservatives attacking the only man that can beat her.....

Sometimes I think some of the people here don't take the time to think about what they are saying.....Rudy is the man, he's the only one who can beat the beast, and he will be a great tax cutting security minded full of guts President. The social things conservatives worry about with Rudy will never get the attention they would need from him because he is too invovled with REAL LIFE.....he is not the champion of social changes, he is the champion of Americans who love their country and want to see someone with back bone in the office.....watch him with the press....he's the man.....you betcha....

Heard the tape. I was going to vote for Rudi as I know he means what he says, so I believe him on this one. However, the goose stepping intolerant FRED Heads as exhibited on this site will NOT get my vote for FT. ROMNEY may be the man.

[the goose stepping intolerant FRED Heads]

You would get rave reviews from D.U. for statements like that.

When he’s focused on certain issues Glen Beck can actually sound very intelligent. Most of the time, however, Glen Beck sounds to me like a whiny liberal pretending to be a compassionate conservative. Yeah, I know Beck is a Rush guy and all that. So what. Maybe its just that he’s such a juvenile. Beck wears thin quickly and his glowing support of Rooty Toot is a real barfer.

Correction. Rudy was making a MIS-statement of fact regarding the law. Illegal entry into the United States is already a federal crime, a misdemeanor punishable by 6 months in prison for the first offense. The second offense is a felony punishable by 2 years in prison. 8 U.S.C. 1325.

For Rudy, a former United States Attorney and Associate Attorney General, not to know this is really stunning particularly since he is constantly brandishing such credentials, even in the dig he took at Fred in the debate the other night. (”Fred does a good job play in my role on TV”)

It reminded me of what he said during one of his interviews to the effect that there was a constitutional right to abortion and that he believed the government had to fund that right for indigent women. Another breathtakingly ignorant statement of the law, implying that a constitutional right should be funded by the government

Exactly right.

More dumb scare tactics. Rooty has no respect for the Constitution or the unborn. Abortionist scumbag, lowlife liberal.

“Rudy is a former prosecutor.”

You could not prove it by his ignorance of the criminal statutes governing Illegal Immigration. Do you think the MSM and some of the adoring bloggers in Rudy’s coterie would have been forgiving had Fred made a misstep like this? A first year Assistant United States Attorney knows the criminal penalties for illegal immigration.

“..there is a constitutional right to abortion..”

That is regrettably the case, but it was not his recognition of that “right” that my post was directed to but, rather, to his opinion that the Constitution requires that that right be funded for indigent women. This is another flat out misstatement of Supreme Court precedent, since laws denying use of public funds or facilities for abortion have consistently been upheld as constitutional by the Supreme Court. Maher v. Roe, 432 U.S. 464 (1977). I suppose Rudy’s view is that a strict consructionist judge could come to the conclusion, contrary to precedent, that there is both a “right to abortion” and a constitutional right to require the government to pay for the abortion. I have little faith that he would appoint genuine constitutionalists to the Supreme Court, given his own expansive views of constitutional rights.

"You would get rave reviews from D.U. for statements like that" Possibly; but it shows also how perturbed I and others are with the Fred Heads lack of tolerance for any other candidate... even when he was not a candidate before he is a candidate.

BTW before you get you ... in a knot, the reference was to the attitudes of the Fred Heads, not the individual.
