More than a dozen police officers converged at a corner of Lafayette Square yesterday, bringing with them a horse and extra handcuffs.

Their target: a handful of demonstrators who had gathered to post two signs on an electrical box advertising a protest march Sept. 15 against the Iraq war.

The cops view the protesters as usefull idiots. The cops love it- they get to cash in on overtime when they arrest these people.

Most of the time they just hold them for a few hours and write them summonses for some nonsense violations.

If that’s the case I’d say the cops are bigger idiots then the protesters. At any rate the cops apparently have figured out another way of hosing the taxpayers !!!

They posted their liberal crap on either public or private property. If they want to put up their communist crap without risk, they can post it on signs in their own yards.

Fry them!

Youtube of arrests (pulled from ANSWER)

The arrested were Tina Richards, CEO of Grassroots America and mother of Iraq War Veteran Cloy Richards; Adam Kokesh, the Co-Chair Elect of the Iraq Veterans Against the War and member of Veterans for Peace; and Ian Thompson, an organizer with the ANSWER Coalition.

Fry them? You disagree with their message, so you suggest throwing the book at them? Should they get summonses for being disorderly like they usually are (jamming intersections, breaking things, instigating fights with cops)? Sure. But anything more? No. You're some champion of free speech there.

After reading through that "news story," I have to wonder if Paul Schwartzman - Washington Post Staff Writer, is an endorser of the MASSIVE, HUGE, BIGGEST ANTI-WAR MARCH SINCE VIETNAM WAR.

So, these communist idiots are screeching "Free Speech!" all over the city. I wonder if they would be free speech champions for some fed-up patriots who took it upon themselves to offer their own free speech political commentary... spoken with a bucket of black paint and a paint roller, rolled over the offensive communist posters?
