There are no fresh threats to the USA since at the time the message was recorded in Dec 2001 he assumed the USA would be gone by now.

1. Bin Laden’s says his allies are letting him down.
2. This destroys the left’s claim that bin Laden wants us in Iraq.
3. This enforces the idea that leaving Iraq would be a victory for bin Laden.
