Just called it like it is. It’s his own bio.

Soldier Dad, you know I have enormous respect for you, but I'm goign to need a cite for what you're basing the accusation on. I find it hard to believe Paul ever said he joine dthe military just for non-patriotic ambition.

Nothing in my post claimed that Ru Paul said he joined for non-patriotic ambition. In fact, I never claimed that he joined for non-patriotic ambition. Those words were posted by someone else, not me. I said that he used his military service to further his own career aspirations. If any one took the time to read his bio they would have seen that it claims he was drafted during the Cuban Missile Crisis (of which I am aware of no instances of anyone being drafted at that time - since it was before th Vietnam draft was instituted). His bio cleary states that he never served outside of U.S. airspace during the Vietnam war - I raise the question about how he managed to pull that off if he was drafted prior to the Vietnam war. If anyone has any information that refutes a possibility he used influence to avoid participating in Vietnam, please post it.
