No Ron Paul would be reading the Constitution to make sure that Nuclear m\Missiles is covered in the Constitution..While others would never ever consider even using nuclear weapons regardless of the event.

Nice unbalanced diatribe.
According to our Constitution, the Executive has authority over the US armed forces and therefore may deploy them wherever in the world he sees fit if he believes it serves to keep America safe.
Moreover the Constitution invests the Executive with authority to negotiate treaties and agreements with foreign nations and to to define the terms of such agreements. He is fully within his rights to garrison their countries with US forces if the US Executive sees fit.
Go back to school before you flip out again.

That may be true, but considering the current crowd holding on to the reins of leadership in D.C., using nuclear weapons would never, ever be considered. And their excuse would be, that even if terrorist nuked Dallas, they would tell us it was not state sponsored. When we all know that would not be true, as the terrorist states are well defined, as they were even prior to 911.

Any attempts on votes on anything that the precinct chair does not want is quickly ruled out of order.
And, yes, I am in the process of stacking the next meeting.

Your response diminishes anything that you have to say about these issues, including the value of your own son's service.
Shame on you, you shameful, shameful person.

Not sure what point you’re trying to get at here, but if you are being serious about your posts to me and not just attempting sarcasm, then please, tell me, why in the hell should I give a rats ass what you think? I think my family’s 354 year history in this country; history of fighting in every major war since the Revolutionary War give me at least as much right as anyone else to render my opinion regarding this and any other issue involving this nation. My comments regarding Ru Paul has exactly zero effect on the value of my son’s service and you can kiss my - no I will not stoop to your level.

Nothing in my post claimed that Ru Paul said he joined for non-patriotic ambition. In fact, I never claimed that he joined for non-patriotic ambition. Those words were posted by someone else, not me. I said that he used his military service to further his own career aspirations. If any one took the time to read his bio they would have seen that it claims he was drafted during the Cuban Missile Crisis (of which I am aware of no instances of anyone being drafted at that time - since it was before th Vietnam draft was instituted). His bio cleary states that he never served outside of U.S. airspace during the Vietnam war - I raise the question about how he managed to pull that off if he was drafted prior to the Vietnam war. If anyone has any information that refutes a possibility he used influence to avoid participating in Vietnam, please post it.

Yes, the bio that I read does make the claim that he was drafted. But, during the Cuban Missile Crisis? Was anyone being drafted in that time period? I have never heard of anyone being drafted during that period and would like for someone to give information on that.
As to his words, I'm not surprised that he would make such comments after the fact.

Go and read the bio on Ru Paul. Serve? Sure, he was in the military - briefly. But did he serve his country? No, he used his brief military experience to further his career aspirations and never was in any way involved in anything remotely like real service to this country.452 posted on 09/08/2007 11:44:35 AM PDT by SoldierDad (Proud Dad of a 2nd BCT 10th Mountain Division Soldier fighting terrorists in the Triangle of Death)

You'd think such an expert on patriotism would know this.
And for me personally, reading your statements, mocking those that served, to further your political agenda what ever that may be is getting a little old.
I've seen you post multiple times about how your family has been in this country 354 years, has served in every war etc. You seem to wear all that on your sleeve, broadcasting it regularly.
My family has been here 369 years, fought in all wars, one of which had historic notable mention for his involvement in the revolutionary war, two of which left their body parts fighting in foreign lands, and two others have provided protection for 3 different Presidents of the United States. I rarely mention it, and to be sure, it certainly does not make me any better than any other American, and I will certainly not use my family background to mock or question others that served this country honorably.
