One has to wonder if the Portugese authorities have any evidence for this or if they just want to deflect attention away from not solving the case. Could be it is hurting tourism and they want to deflect blame.

I saw a news blip on this subject this morning. Supposedly after study of the forensics on site, they believe they have evidence to charge her. The report wasn’t very specific though. They did infer she may not be the only person who will be charged. I believe they intimated a male figure other than the father as well, although I’m not sure that implies what most people might think that it did.
GASP!!!! Occassionally Mrs. L and I have been known to get our child his own room!!!!

Blood was found in the vehicle rented by the mother 25 days after the child was reported missing. That blood was proven by forensics to be that of little Madeleine McCann.
It is now being reported on FNC that Kate McCann (mother) has been offered a plea deal in Portugal.

I think if a couple killed their kid they would come up with a better story than, “We went out to dinner and left the kids alone.” It just sounds odd to me. For the record, I think they were at an outdoor cafe within sight of the room. It isn’t that outrageous and probably common in Europe. I know that Europeans will often leave their baby carriages outside while dining (within view) inside.
(be careful comparing yourself to Shep Smith with the phrase “great minds”! Yours is fine but I’m not so sure about his.)
