I have no way of proving that this poll was manipulated. I can tell you what my gutt feeling is. When the primaries come along, it’s going to become rather appearant what has taken place.

IMO, McCain won the debate. I won’t be voting for him, but he came off the most presidential, and the other candidates seemed to heap praise on him. That made him look superior in stature.

I didn’t watch the whole thing, so I’m not really the guy who should be picking these things, but others seem to have noted the same thing.

I will tell you I thought Huckabee’s response to Paul was powerful. I know others didn’t like it one bit.

Take care.

You do realize this is all deliberate, don't you? It's no accident that Fox chose this method instead of their previous instant phone polls.

Can anyone guess what cut of the 20¢ text calls Fox News will get out of this operation? My guess is in the 5% to 8% range.

If you guys don't like it, write them a letter. But they'll probably be busy cashing their check from this "poll". And yes, they knew full well the likely outcome since it is mostly the under-forties who text, especially the under-thirties and the teens. All a deliberate choice, made solely by Fox News. Not by Ron Paul.

Pretty weak. I guess he can still interactively recite phrases from the Pledge though, a nice display of impromptu Baptist preaching skills.

The key event last night, virtually unnoticed, is Ron Paul named and blamed the Saudi government for the involvement of so many Saudis in funding terror (Kosovo, elsewhere), in 9/11 and in supplying most of the terrorists who are currently attacking our troops in Iraq. The reactions to those statements will be truly interesting.
