I always say that the GOP could capture the black vote. It would take time and effort, but it could happen. I don't think I see enough effort by the party.

Between abortion, murder and family statistics, what blacks really need is to embrace a Culture of Life. The Democrats just can't offer that. We can. But we have to hammer that home and provide real outreach.

90% of blacks vote Democrats. If we took that away from the Left, they'd never win another election.

The dems have spend a lot of other people's money to secure that vote. I think it would be pretty easy for them, morally, to double that if necessary.

They should be truthful with the Black population even if they are labeled racist, they just need to make sure they have the supportable facts. If Blacks get mad at them for preaching the truth and don't vote for them they lose zero votes. However if we start a national conversation with the facts as our starting point we can eventually move on to workable solutions which will be in everyones best interests, except the so called Black Leaders and Liberal Pols who want to keep Blacks down and in need of government (their) help.

We could put in all the time and effort in the world, but they still have to want to live self sufficiently to switch to the conservative side.

Like Rush says, it's hard to be a conservative. The easy way is to give up and say "Here I am Uncle Sam, put me on the freebie list"

And that option may be one of the only ones available to those who thought it wasn't cool to try to get an education when they had a chance.

I say it’s futile, so let it go. The GOP would be much better off taking hardline stands against racism against Anglos and Asians. You know the racist code words inherent in “affirmative action” and “diversity.”
