A real Pro and, gratefully, he never abused his talent with political pontifications.
He will be remembered for generations simply for that unique, magic voice, and for his unfailing professionalism.
R.I.P.

Cheap shot.
I can never judge anyone, without knowing him intimately or walking in his shoes. Even if not famous.
Nice.

Heard him many times in live performances. May he rest in peace. There must be beautiful music in heaven right now. Pavarotti and Beverly Sills singing arias together.

RIP for a bigger-than-life figure (and I’m not joking about his waistline, although he did). The great ones are also ambassadors of their art, and Pavarotti qualifies in every respect.

he was a MAN.....no man can claim to be like God.....
but a man ( or woman) that develops their God given talent and shares it with the world, to make the world a better place, I think that man will probably be embraced by God above.....

I think that man will probably be embraced by God above.God embraces all men. What matters is whether man embraces God.

Observation of notorious publicity is not "judgement".I will leave that "judgement" to the readers of this thread.
Have a nice day.

A symbol that epitomizes the difference between the “west” culture wise and the rest of the world.

Correct. Pakistan, Somalia, or Puto Rico could NEVER produce a tenor as great as Luciano!
