Let’s put a Reaganesque fellow whom even non-political people recognize atop the ticket, and a true conservative backing him up and advising him.

That ticket does NOT lose to Hillary or Obama.

Duncan Hunter is the guy who can beat the Dem candidate, because he will energize the base.

CIC should be someone who knows military affairs inside and out, and he’s got more Reagan conservatism in his little finger than the rest of the candidates combined. Duncan Hunter for President...ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!

It's too bad Fred doesn't pick a Duncan Hunter to advise him. Don't you think Fred can do it without a conservitive to prop him up? Hunter can. He doesn't need someone else to make him look conservative.

In 1980, you would no doubt have been encouraging everyone to push Ronald Reagan into the VP slot for George H.W. Bush.

In comparative experience in elective office, there is no contest. Fred Thompson is a former one-term Senator (6 years), Duncan Hunter arrived in Washington in the original Reagan Landslide of 1980 (26 years).

Do the math.
