McCain screwed up on the issue of torture. Someone should tell him the terrorists were already torturing Americans when they get their hands on them.
Saying if we don’t torture they won’t torture our people is nonsense and unrealistic.
When you are dealing with a terrorist, you do whatever is necessary to get information from them.

Agree. McCain has screwed up several times since he keeps bringing up his record. Torture, immigration, CFR and there was another coalition of Senators that I'm forgetting.
I appreciate his service to his country but I won't vote for him.

When McCain landed in North Vietnam after bailing out of his A-4, despite the fact that we were complying with all Geneva protocols, he was bayoneted in the groin before being tortured for years.
You'd think a guy who went through that would get it.
