For Brit Hume to lead off the debate with a question about Thompson was really lame. All the campaigners had pre-cooked answers, most tried to be humorous and weren’t, and it quickly became boring. We changed channels.

I guess those with thin skins need not enter politics.
But I kind of think that this won’t bother ol’ Fred much. He knows what he’s getting into.
The Dems seem to be much rougher with each other. Hilary and Obama are playing for keeps.

Yeah it's there, but in earnest defense of it, why couldn't he show up for the debate? Announcing tomorrow is just plain weak IMHO.
Not Anti-Fred, just really bothered by that fact.
