Why not Leno?
Politics has always been about getting your message out to the masses. In this current political environment, the more people you can reach, the more your message will be heard. Leno has a big audience.
Go Fred go!

[.. Why ... Leno ??? ..]
Because he is not a commie Clintoonoid like Letterman..
Leno is just embarrassed by what the network pays him like any liberal..
A Normal-phobic like DeGeneres is just abnormal..

“Why ... Leno ???”
Because more people who are wondering who Fred Thompson is will watch Leno tonight. People watching Fox are already voting Republican.
Good move on Thompsons part. There will be 20 more Republican debates before the primaries.

Why ... Leno ??? Because Arsenio Hall no longer has a TV show, and Fred Dalton Thompson does not play the saxophone.

Why ... Leno ???
Could be because he has the largest late-night audience on TV. Fred will have 10 times the exposure on Leno that he would have at the Debate.
He wouldn't win New Hampshire anyhow, it's too stinkin' liberal.

Who watches Leno?
Seriously. I’ve asked around, and literally no one I’ve asked watches Leno.
