KING5 TV in Seattle is reporting that Fred Thompson has made the announcement during a taping for tonights' "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.
See my siggy...I think it captures it nicely.
That hadn't even crossed my mind. Is it even a possibility?
I stayed up past my bedtime last night to watch Leno. I was jumping up and down, quietly yelling WOOHOO!! so as not to wake the rest of the house.
If only bore would run. Run bore, run.
Mitt can get him northeast votes. Vp doesn’t really matter anyway.
That’s why I think Rudy would be a good veep choice. He’d siphon alot of votes from Her Thighness.
Plus, my feeling about Rudy is that he still lives in a place where all there is is NYC and a few suburbs. He needs to be groomed and find out that there’s way more to America than a few square miles near the Hudson. Veep under a true conservative like Fred would be excellent training.
Who watches Leno?
Seriously. I’ve asked around, and literally no one I’ve asked watches Leno.
I am glad you reminded these know nothings about their posts.
So go vote for the hildebeest. The early campaigning has been going on for so long a lot of us are tired of the posers and rinos who jumped in early and are burning out fast. Lets face it, Fred rates as highly in most polls as the running front runners.
I’m sure the pretty boy is on fire all right, probably an allergic reaction from the ton of makeup and hairspray they use to make him look so presidential. He’s as made up for TV as Kennedy was and I’m sure his supporters will vote with their hormones instead of thoughtful analysis. Mitt seems to be looking more for a coronation than Fred since according to the Mitt twits Fred doesn’t show any ambition or fire needed to pursue the presidency.
Actually, I haven’t made up my mind about who I am going to vote for. But whoever it is is going to have to earn it. And that goes for you too Fred.
