You’ve been here for nine years - you should know better than to screw with headlines.

At what point did consistency of campaign staff become the measuring stick by which to gauge the success of a campaign?

Since it's your title, I assume you think that Fred's campaign is crumbling.
I'm going to save this thread for later to see if you got it right.

He should run off Snakeheads wife, Mary Carville. That would be helpful.

Fox is holding the debate Fred is snubbing. I expected a low blow from Fox it reinforces my belief the media is bias.

So if you start with amateurs you must run with amateurs? Where is that written?

The speech had been written, but two weeks ago new Thompson campaign manager Bill Lacy tossed it out. He replaced the speech with the video announcement and changed plans to skip the FOX debate. Is it a smart move by Thompson not to get into the dog-and-pony show?
Or is it a tacit admission by the campaign that Thompson does much better in controlled speech and one-on-one settings than in a think-on-your-feet debate format?
Or is it just that they know that standing next to Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson is going to look like someone's Great Grandfather? And people won't vote for a guy that looks like he could keel over at any second?
To: Scythian
Rudy has more wives than Thompson has had campaign managers.

When was the last time you heard of a candidate with a shoddy campaign winning an election?

The mods fixed the headline! We’re going to have to watch out for whatever this guy posts!

If not for Fred, I’m pretty certain Newt would be firmly in the campaign by now.
Fred is not the antidote to the Republicans’ (RNC) departure from conservatism.
I’ve got nothing against Thompson, but his campaign is very worrisome in this regard.

I’m not sure what’s going on inside Fred’s pre-campaign campaign, but it sure doesn’t look good publicly, with all the shifting around, firing, and resignations.
To: johnny7
Yeah - heaven forbid that a President should have better taste in women than Bill Clinton (his horrendus wife aside, even his mistresses weren’t that attractive).
