I couldn’t agree more... the “chase” is pitiful. I much prefer the old days when the season champion was actually the season champion.
I agree, it was better the way it used to be but since when does Nascar listen to the fans? You can’t even contact them directly on their site.
Maybe not *exponentially*, though. It could go up 10% each week, though.

If you're talking about the race in NASCAR when they did the split-screen commercials I agree with you...I thought that was great. I read some comments on various sites that didn't like that format so that may be why we didn't see it again. Squeaky wheels getting the grease maybe.

Just wait till next year when Junior can again "show his talent", as Jeff Gordon says...as he did when Dale Sr had DEI near the top of the heap. They'll be howling like they were when Dale Jr won Talladega 4 times in a row. lol (I'm hoping they can put the Hendrick resources to good use in a hurry, and start winning poles and leading races, and lasting till the end of races...:^)...)
Then why is it ONLY happening this year?

Steve Hmiel will now help Truex Jr on the chase and NOT spot for Jr any longer. Must be orders from above. Grrrrr
TJ Majors will spot, he’s the spotter for Brad K in Busch. I’m concerned that he didn’t tell Brad he was three wide Fri night. Brad said he didn’t know the 38 was on the bottom which resulted in his wreck.
At least Jr didn’t break that rule too. lol
I just finished e-mailing the local ABC channel and ABC/ESPN concerning their blow off of the pre-race show and to ABC for that and the lousy coverage on re-starts and camera angles. Won’t do any good but I feel better. :)

Yes I know :) BUT, I figure they’re dumb when it comes to Nascar so I threatened a fan petition to bring back Fox. LOL hahahaha
