I doubt we'll get actual confirmation until Matt decides to talk about it (on air or on the website), but there's a legitimate article confirming what was whispered last Sunday night. End of an era. I sure will miss chatting with you guys every week. And I'll miss my favorite radio show.

It seems at time lately, he has had trouble filling one hour let alone 3.

Well, I’ll miss it. He often had a good show, except when he repeated stuff OVER and OVER again...

Can’t say that I’m totally shocked, either. I remember wondering once, when the show ended, whether it would be due to a big dust-up over some controversy, or on his own terms. Guess now we know how that story ends. :)

except when he repeated stuff OVER and OVER again...Well, now Hannity can go back to being the one that does that exclusively. ;)

Maybe C-SPAN will give him his own call-in show. Wouldn’t that be cool? I don’t think he’s going away.

That would be cool. Or maybe he’ll be welcomed back into the Fox fold. The way he bags on MSNBC or CNN, I doubt that’d be an option. ha! I doubt he’s going away. How could drudgereport.com ever go away?

End of an era. I sure will miss chatting with you guys every week. And I'll miss my favorite radio show. I could not agree more! The Drudge radio show and thread were always very entertaining. Cunningham is good, but Matt always had that inside info before the Monday papers and the Hollywood gossip that some of us enjoy. He will be missed (as will the thread!)

That seriously blows. We are going to have to flood the lines and thank him the next few weeks.

MATT HAD THE CUTS, THE MUSIC, THE CANNED LAUGHTER AND THE COMMENTARY TO MESH IT ALL TOGETHER...
NO ONE... I REPEAT - NO ONE WILL MATCH THAT!!!!
I’ll miss him.
Lainie, save the ping list and your templates for if or when Matt might return to the radio with another show.
