See,the nyt, cair,Daniel W. Sutherlandet,Representative Keith Ellison etc., want us to think the terrorists look like this.

A vendor who goes by the name Hijabman at the convention, making light of some perceptions of Muslims.

Yea,that's funny.

But maybe they look like this,

The FBI is seeking two men whose behavior on a Washington state ferry raised suspicion among ferry workers and members of the public.

Abandon Stereotypes,my a$$.

Leaders of American Muslim organizations attribute the growing intolerance to three main factors: global terrorist attacks in the name of Islam, disappointing reports from the Iraq war and the agenda of some supporters of Israel who try taint (sic) Islam to undermine the Palestinians.

How stupid are these people?

Speaking at the State Department in 1999, Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, a Sufi sheik and leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, sounded an alarm about Muslim houses of worship in the United States.

“The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques . . . is the extremists’ ideology,” he said. “Because they are very active, they took over the mosques; . . . they took over more than 80 percent of the mosques that have been established in the US.” He warned ominously that “a danger might suddenly come that you are not looking for . . . we don’t know where it is going to hit.”

Thats all I really have to say.

Oh yes, and CAIR ... that group that protests all those terror bombings around the world and their outspoken criticism of OBL and his attack on the World Trade Center ....

Six years after the Sept. 11 attacks, Americans should distinguish between mainstream Muslims and the radical fringe, the leaders said.

If the muslims in America would do something to distinguish themselves from their murderous counterparts, then maybe we would too.

Since I don't see any condemnation of radical islam by muslims in the US, I have to conclude that they agree with them and support them.

Too bad for you fellas, if you identify yourselves with them, I will, too.

agenda of some supporters of Israel who try taint Islam to undermine the Palestinians.

Palestinians would have their own state if they didn't vote a terrorist organization into their government. This is lunacy.

As another FReeper stated (and I don’t recall who it was), mosques are just military installations.

Kind of like the Trojan horse, IMO.

YEAH! And we’re still letting them in....WHY? We should be able to vote on who gets into our country. I don’t want to risk my safety to show how tolerant I am.

["Six years after the Sept. 11 attacks, Americans should distinguish between mainstream Muslims and the radical fringe, the leaders said."]

The only problem is, "mainstream" Muslims have given us no reason to do so.

In the words of Ronald Reagan: "Let me tell you why it is we distrust you..."

Well fine, if that's what Muslims want, then here are just a few ways in which YOU (Muslims) can cause it to come about:

That's a start....we'll update it as is necessary.

It has been mentioned that the next attack on the U.S. could come in the form of a large number of simultaneous Beslan style school massacres. May I suggest to those Muslims already living here that you establish your "PEACEFUL MUSLIM" credentials EARLY & OFTEN

Really now . . . do I look like a terrorist ?

God forbid these attacks should happen but if you don't speak up all I can say is . . . remember Manzanar ! ! !
