Back in the 70s, my husband and I were houseparents in a fraternity. One of the brothers, a young black man, decided he was gay. He then decided he was Jewish. He then went to New York to become a dancer. I hope he survived but probably died of aids. He was a very unhappy soul.

Were you houseparents in a frat in KS? I would love to be a housemother for my sorority but it would be too depressing because I’d want to go party with the girls. I also wouldn’t be a very good disciplinarian. Do you and the wife enjoy it?
