Out of Kevorkian’s more than 130 victims, a minority had terminal illnesses; most were people with disabilities who were not terminally ill. According to a review of Kevorkian’s victims by the Detroit Free Press in 1997, 60% did not have terminal conditions.
True. But for some people disability or serious or chronic illness is enough for them to want to end it all.
And remember, as far as I know, these individuals sought out Dr. Kevorkian. He didn’t just come to their homes or hospitals and force death upon them. It was their choice.
