The vote was supposed to be until 1 or 2 pm, but GOP security prevented registered Delegates from entering the building who were wearing Ron Paul signs at 10am.
I was standing over by the Granny warriors when 2 delegates approached me and asked me to help them get into the convention center.
They had showed up at the door a little before 10am wearing Ron Paul shirts. The security guard told them to change into proper attire. They left and changed then came back and it was now 10:10/10:20 and the security told them the registration was closed.
Apparently everyone who showed up from out of town or with an online registration recpt. was denied access unless they got there before 10am and in proper attire.

“I didnt see Italians or Canadians flying planes into buildings... why not target the ACTUAL TERRORISTS?!”
We are.
Welcome to Free Republic.
No, I can’t.
You raised some good points. Welcome to FR.
Why all you have to do is cover up your name. all I need is the rest showing the wording that you claimed is there. Without it I can not prove who is telling the truth here. Now that you say no and the other individual posted his alleged letter I have nothing to compare so may be you are not telling the truth instead of the other person as I suspected. One thing is for sure someone is a liar
I don’t have a scanner. That is why.
I dont have a scanner. That is why.
No problem get one of your relatives to scan it in. No relatives then a friend or how about scanning it in at work or the library? There are tons of ways to scan or do you just want to hand out more excuses?
Watched the video, heard the people talking about the deadline, showing the papers with the time notice and there’s no mention of “proper attire.” Many people attended in T-shirts of all kinds.
What a bunch of hooey!
There was no dress code and there were many people at the meeting in all sorts of T-shirts, including Ron Paul’s. Look at the people who have credentials and who are going in on the video. Listen to them talk about the time constraints and even read the letters.
This is all a bunch of baloney.
You gotta be kidding!!! ROTFL!
Anyone who said there were rules about “proper attire” and/or that they were turned away for Ron Paul t-shirts is lying to you. I was there, I saw lots of t-shirts from all the candidates. If they lied to you about one thing, chances are that they lied about the other.
I think you’re quite right. I also think we can expect more of this kind of thing from now on.
RonPaul is a rock group from the late 60’s. They had one single that was played 3 times on a college radio station.
They were better known for their rants against “the man” and the recording industry. RonPaul alleged multiple conspiracies were involved in keeping them from rock stardom.
The members of RonPaul were last seen at 2600 Virginia Avenue in Washington DC on June 17th, 1972.
(Hey, if they can make up fantasy, I can spin my own work of fiction)

To paraphrase James Carville, it's amazing what you get when you drag hundred-dollar-bills through mental wards.
I'll ask you the same question I ask every Paulista. If, by some conspiracy of the Trilateral Commission, your man doesn't get the nomination, will you vote for/ support the party's nominee?
For myself, I'll support the party's nominee. Because, you see, I actually am a REPUBLICAN.
How about you?
Hank
Man I hate being on the road when there is good Paul thread. My Treo comes and goes.
I will be back online after I goto the meeting hall and worship the Constitution...
I mean go to church and worship God...
I slipped and thought I was a Paulette
Now you are just being rude. If you want to assume people are liars until proven otherwise, that is your prerogative. I am sad that your life experience has driven you to be so distrusting. I know I haven’t lied to you, but I am not willing to go out of my way to prove I haven’t.
I understand you’re back in theater. Take care of yourself, and God’s blessings on you.
